BIGALS - Environmental Policy

We don't just supply technology – we also manage the entire value chain.

We take people and the environment into consideration.

As an owner-managed company, every mission is backed not only by know-how, but also by a clear stance.

At BIGALS AG, we make our responsibility visible and implement our environmental code as follows:

Raising awareness among BIGALS tenant workers:

We train our employees to act in an environmentally conscious manner – both at BIGALS and on the go.

Circular economy and packaging:

We focus on reusable, recyclable packaging and optimize our logistics processes to avoid waste.

Transparency and communication:

We regularly report on our environmental goals and progress to customers, partners and the public.

Vehicle fleet and transport:

We continuously invest in modern, low-emission vehicles, potential alternative drive systems, and optimize our route planning to minimize CO2 emissions.

Legal and voluntary obligations:

We comply with all environmentally relevant laws and exceed them where possible through voluntary commitments.

Energy efficiency and resources:

We reduce our energy consumption in warehouses and offices through efficient technologies and sustainable building management.

Climate goals:

We strive to reduce our ecological footprint annually and make a corresponding contribution. Our long-term goal is to operate in a climate-neutral manner by 2050.

Sustainability Policy

Perhaps this perspective will help people see the world and nature differently.

The universe is estimated to be about 13.8 billion years old.

Sounds crazy, right? Okay, let me explain it to you.

Imagine a giant cosmic calendar.

January 1st: the Big Bang.

And how long does it take for the solar system to form?

SEPTEMBER – yes, until planets even form.

Then you'll have to wait quite a while longer…

Dinosaurs first appear on December 25th.

They're barely here – bam, by December 30th they're already gone again.

New Year's Eve, December 31st:

The Big Bang was almost a year ago.

Humans and chimpanzees separate at 8 p.m.

At 9:25 PM, humans walked upright for the first time.

Modern humans are created at 23:52.

And – no joke – Jesus Christ was born just 4 seconds before midnight.

That's how old the universe is.

Our existence? Just a blink of an eye.

So:

The family person who annoys you? Make up.

The resentment you're still carrying around? Let it go.

That project you keep putting off? Do it NOW.

Life is short, dear reader. We don't have much time.
